Archive for a programme of archaeological evaluation comprising fifteen trial trenches excavated on land off Linwood Road, Market Rasen, to inform a proposed residential development. Trenches placement targeted potential archaeology identified during a prior geophysical survey (see ELI14258). Two distinct areas of archaeology were recorded: an area of Roman pottery production in the northwest of the site, and an area of undated metal working waste in the site centre.
