Abstract/Summary

Archive for an archaeological evaluation on land to the north of Brigg Road, Caistor. Eleven trial trenches were excavated to inform a proposed residential development. Five features of archaeological interest were recorded, including possible drainage channels and a pair of possible parallel hedgerow boundares. A sherd of likely intrusive roman greyware pottery was recovered in one of the ditches, along with several unstratified sherds of medieval pottery.
