Archive for a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording conducted during groundworks for a residential development on land off The Sidings, Horncastle. A geophysical survey, evaluation trenching and a topographical earthwork survey had previously been carried out on the site. The monitoring identified medieval furrows containing fills with pottery sherds. A few fragments of pottery and CBM were retrieved from the subsoil.
