Archive for the excavation of six trial trenches, dug to inform proposed development on land at Hoop Lane Farm, Langton by Wragby. The presence of medieval ridge and furrow remains, which had been identified across the site by a previous geophysical survey (see ELI13424), was confirmed in two of the trenches. The remaining four trenches were archaeological sterile, and no other archaeological features or artefacts were encountered.
