Abstract/Summary

Archive for the programme of historic building recording, conducted to inform the proposed conversion to a residential use of former farm buildings at Crowtree Farm, White Cross Lane, Surfleet. The farm dates to the mid to late 19th century, and was originally comprised of a U-shaped complex of barns with an attached farmhouse. The farmhouse and north-west range of the barns were demolished in the mid 20th century, however, and the survey recorded the remaining north-east and south-east barn ranges, as well as adjacent modern packing sheds and glasshouse.
