Abstract/Summary
Archive for the programme of archaeological monitoring and recording, conducted during groundworks for the construction of 7 new residential dwellings at Holly Lodge, Spalding Road, Holbeach. The remains of two intercutting pits were recorded in the area of one of the house plots, with 2 sherds of late medieval pottery being recovered from the fill of the earlier pit. A fragment of late post-medieval roof tile also found in the pit fill was thought to be a later intrusion.
