Abstract/Summary

Archive for the excavation of ten trial trenches, dug to inform proposed residential development on land off Barlings Lane, Langworth. Several former plough furrows were recorded, with some thought to represent the remains of medieval ridge and furrow, although no finds were recovered and their exact origin remains unclear. A single redeposited fragment of worked prehistoric flint was also recovered during the investigation.
