Abstract/Summary

Archive for the excavation of two trial trenches, dug to inform proposed development on land off St Botolphs Crescent, Lincoln. Several large pits, thought to have been dug to extract sand, were recorded, with finds of medieval pottery, tile and animal bone being recovered from their fills. A small number of post-medieval finds were also recovered from the site.
