Archive for the earthwork survey, conducted of part of the remains of the deserted medieval village in the parkland at Gunby Hall. The survey was conducted as a training exercise for local volunteers, and identified a number of medieval tofts and part of a network of hollow ways and boundary ditches. A number of later post-medieval features were also recorded, all relating to the water management system associated with Gunby Hall, and including a reservoir, spring, wind pump and hydraulic ram.
