Title Stenigot to Benniworth Pipeline
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2013

Abstract/Summary

Archive for the excavation of eight trial trenches, dug along the proposed route on the new Stenigot to Benniworth water pipeline. A number of ditches and a pit were recorded in the south-western most trenches, and finds of medieval pottery were recovered from some of their fills. A single, redeposited struck flint, possibly of Neolithic date, was also recovered from the subsoil, in the trench closest to the crossing of the River Bain.
