Abstract/Summary
Archive for the excavation of two trial trenches, dug to inform proposed development at 1a Castle Gate, Castle Bytham. The remains of wall foundations and a linear rubble spread were recorded. It was thought possible that the features were related to the remains of the adjacent medieval castle, although no dating evidence was recovered.
