Abstract/Summary

Archive for the investigation, conducted on behalf of Lincolnshire Police, of human remains found on the bank of the River Witham. The remains comprised a skull, two long bones and a pelvis bone. No grave cut could be discerned, and it remained unclear whether the remains were in situ or had been redeposited. The date of the remains could not be confirmed, but they were thought to pre-date the 1940's at least.
