Abstract/Summary
Report on a rescue excavation and subsequent scheme of monitoring and recording, undertaken during refurbishment of paving and associated landscaping in the town centre of Gainsborough. Seventeen inhumation burials, three disarticulated individuals and a series of walls were revealed, indicating the presence of an extensive medieval cemetery in this area.
