Abstract/Summary

Archive for the excavation of five trial trenches, dug to inform the proposed construction of a recreational fishing pond, wildlife pond and associated facilities on land at The Old Mill Cottage, Usselby. Remains of medieval ridge and furrow were recorded as linear earthworks in the south-easternmost trenches, and two redeposited sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the westernmost trench.
