Archive for the trial trench evaluation, conducted on the site of a proposed quarry extension at Baston No.1 Quarry, Cross Road, Baston. Nine trenches were excavated, and several linear features representing post-medieval field boundaries and a medieval furrow were recorded. A number of undated features representing ditch and post-holes were also recorded.
