Abstract/Summary

Archive for the desk based assessment produced to determine the archaeological implications of proposed residential development on land south of Spalding Road, Sutterton. The site is occupied by the former Sutterton waterworks, thought to have been built in about 1940. Surviving structures associated with the former waterworks were noted and photographed, including the octagonal concrete water tower, a former pump house and plant room, and a number of tanks and storage bays. Three underground water reservoirs and other underground services are also thought to have been on the site.
