Full Description

The rubble remains of a limestone structure of unknown date were recorded during the archaeological monitoring of the groundworks for extensions to the Church of St Nicholas with St John, conducted between July 2009 and July 2012. Whilst no dateable material was found in association with the structure, it lay stratigraphically above a layer that contained 3rd or 4th century Roman pottery. {1}{2}
