Full Description

An assemblage of 13 flints of likely late prehistoric date was recovered in September 2009, during trial trenching on land to the south of Belton Lane, Manthorpe. All of the flints were redeposited, being recovered as surface finds, and all had been quite heavily plough damaged. The assemblage comprised a button or thumbnail scraper, typical of the early Bronze Age, a possible tertiary flake, and 11 pieces of debitage. {1}{2}
