Full Description

A redeposited flint flake of likely late Neolithic to early Bronze Age date was found during trial trenching at Highfield Quarry, Welton le Marsh. The flint was recovered from trench 8, and was a secondary flake with dorsal scars showing earlier removals of other flakes. It had small areas of patination and showed evidence of probable post-depositional damage. {1}{2}
