Full Description

A residual sherd of late 1st to 2nd century Roman pottery was recovered in December 2013, from the fill of a clearly modern feature, excavated during trial trenching on land to the north of Kirmond Road, Binbrook. The fragment is an abraded rim sherd from a large storage jar with an internal lid seat, and is gritted with coarse grog and rounded quartz. {1}{2}
