Full Description

Goulceby United Methodist Free chapel was built in 1854 to seat 100. A porch was added c.1910. It was sold to be used as a grain store in 1933, when the denominations united, but was bought back by the Methodists and reopened in 1940, after they closed the chapel they had been using. The chapel finally closed permanantly in 1980. The building remained extant until at least 2009 (it appears on Google Maps with that year given for the date of the image). As it appears on Google Maps, the building had a hipped roof and round-headed window arches. It is overgrown and quite dilapidated, and had clearly been derelict for some time. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
