Full Description
During excavation at Chapel Hill, Hall Farm, Lobthorpe by South Witham Archaeology Group in 2008 and 2009, a large quantity of Roman pottery, some hypocaust tile, tesserae and building debris was found. This may suggest that a Roman complex is within the vicinity of the site. {1}{2}
