Full Description

An archaeological building recording was undertaken in October 2011 by Humber Field Archaeology prior to demolition and refurbishment of farm buildings associated with Rectory Farm. The Geographical Information System records this building as one structure but upon inspection on the ground, it is actually three buildings. Each building was built of brick and has gabled pantile roofs. Building A (56436a) is a two storey building which was built between 1887 and 1906. The lower floor was a cartshed and the upper floor was a granary. Building B (56436b) was built in the 20th century. It has two rooms, one was a cow house or tack room, the other room was a stable. Building D (56436c) was a five bay implement shed which was built between 1887 and 1906. {1}{2}
