Full Description

During trial trenching on land at 42 Main Street, Baston in February 2011 by Archaeological Project Services, two pits, a post hole, a possible post hole and a buried soil was found. All these features were undated. {1}{2} During monitoring of groundworks for a residential development in September 2011 by Archaeological Project Services two undated pits were found in Plot 1, an east to west aligned ditch in Plot 2 and a pit/ditch and a north west to south east aligned ditch/large pit was found in Plot 3. {3}{4}
