Full Description
Emergency excavations by the South Lincolnshire Archaeological Unit (SLAU) took place in April 1980 on a Bronze Age urnfield. About 8 fragmentary urns and part of a bronze bracelet were found. Information from P. Chowne of SLAU.{1}
Excavations in 1980 revealed a cemetery consisting of nine burials associated with at least six cremation urns. No grave goods were contained in the vessels although a bronze bangle was found during topsoil removal. {3}
