PRN 39120 The Corn Exchange was built in 1859, presumably replacing the earlier Corn Market in front of Brown's Hospital which was demolished in 1862, and is by Edward Browning. It was originally in a Tudor Gothic style and had a large first floor window in a shallow projecting central bay. It was altered in 1925 after a fire. {1} This building is now used as a theatre. {2}
