Full Description

Oxford Archaeology undertook a programme of trial trenching on land to the west of the A1 Gonerby Moor roundabout, Great Gonerby in September 2006. An undated pit and ditch, and an amorphous feature were revealed. {1}{2} These features are probably contemporary with the adjacent Iron Age enclosure system (MLI97725), though this cannot be confirmed without dating evidence.
