Full Description
During a programme of trial trenching conducted on land to the west of the A1 Gonerby Moor roundabout, Great Gonerby, in May 2004, a northwest to southeast aligned field boundary was revealed. No dating evidence was recovered from the fills of this feature. {1}{2}
A perpendicular boundary ditch was identified immediately to the southeast during a geophysical survey in February-March 2003 (see MLI127743). Their alignments suggest they may form part of the same field system.
