Full Description
This Methodist Church was built in 1886 by J.T. Ward, replacing the earlier chapel (see PRN 38294) which is now used as a Sunday School. It is in the Gothic style, asymmetrical and was described as 'regrettable'. {1}
The chapel is of stone with a gabled Welsh slate roof. It used to have a full tower, though this is no longer extant, and it is not known when this was removed. The building is depicted in an engraving dating from 1886 which is reproduced in W. Leary's 'Lincolnshire Methodism'. {2}{3}
