This building is shown on the 1905 Ordnance Survey map as a Salvation Army Barracks. {2}
The building was surveyed as part of a survey of nonconformist chapels in East Lindsey District. It is of red brick with a gabled Welsh slate roof, and has a black brick string course on the frontage. {3}
