Medieval pottery of 11th to 15th century date was recovered during archaeological evaluation however no features of this date were encountered. {1}{2}
Several pits, a posthole and a beam slot of medieval date were encountered during a watching brief. The posthole and beam slot suggest the presence of a timber building, although the small quantity of features from this period suggests that the site was at the periphery of settlement. {3}{4}
