Full Description

PRN 25627 A watching brief at 107 Broadgate revealed evidence of post medieval activity including a pit containing mid 17th to 18th century pottery and a ditch containing late 17th to 18th century pottery. The ditch ran parallel with Broadgate, at a distance of around 30m from the road. It corresponds with a feature shown on an 1843 tithe map and probably had a relationship with another ditch (also recorded during the watching brief - see PRN 25626) extending to the line of Broadgate. {1}{2}
