Full Description

A watching brief carried out during the excavation of trenches on the site of a proposed house on land to the north of Whispers Cottage, resulted in the identification of a single feature, interpreted as a probable rubbish pit. The feature contained a small quantity of mainly mid to late 17th century pottery and frequent brick fragments. {1}{2}
