A photographic building survey was undertaken by Framework Architecture and Urban Design Ltd prior to conversion of the farm buildings associated with a late eighteenth-century farmhouse. The buildings were being converted for business use. The farmhouse is a listed building and the farm buildings, like the farmhouse, are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with flush ashlar quoins on the largest buildings and all with pantile roofs. The buildings include a threshing barn, stables, a granary, a cartshed and the remains of two crewyards. {2}
A building survey was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology in August and September 2010. The farm was established by 1805. The farmhouse is the earliest building on the site. A stable with a hayloft above was constructed slightly later. A cartshed also exists on the north side of the site. The farm was redeveloped in the mid 19th century when the threshing barn was constructed. The buildings include a cattle shelter and a stables. {3}{4}
