Full Description

A late 18th century house constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick and stucco dressings. It has a pantile roof with raised stone coped gables and two brick gable stacks. To the left of the front is a limestone garden wall, included within the listing, containing a pointed arched doorway with brick surround, in the Gothick taste, surmounted by an embattled brick coping. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings.
