Description
SK 99 SE SNITTERBY SCHOOL LANE 3/44 Manor House and garden wall 1.11.66 II House and wall. Late C18. Coursed limestone rubble with brick and stucco dressings, pantile roof with raised stone coped gables and 2 brick gable stacks. 2 storey with garrets, 3 bay front with plain brick eaves course. Central gabled porch with raised stone coped gables and kneelers and Gothick iron finial, having central half glazed C20 door. To either side are single glazing bar sashes. The 1st floor has 3 similar windows. All openings have cambered heads with splayed stucco lintels. To the left of the front is a limestone garden wall, containing a pointed arched doorway with brick surround, in the Gothick taste, surmounted by an embattled brick coping. Listing NGR: SK9867294811
