Full Description

A row of three 18th century cottages and a former post office. The buildings underwent major alterations and additions in 1911 in the Vernacular Revival style. They were constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble with some yellow brick dressings. They have tile hung gables, an interlocking tiled roof with three ridge and one gable stone stacks. One of the cottages has a plaque recording the rebuilding in 1911 in memory of Debonnaire John, 8th Lord Monson.
