It is a hump-backed, three-span bridge with curved abutments and three semi-circular headed arches with reeded architraves, square imposts and rusticated piers. The abutments terminate in circular piers with roundel decoration. The parapet has largely collapsed, but the Nattes drawing of 1793 in the Banks Collection (vol.3, p.141), shows a panelled balustraded parapet.
