Full Description

A former school and house, now used for community purposes. It was built in 1856 of coursed squared rubble with ashlar dressings and slate roofs. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} White's 1872 Trade Directory states that the school was constructed "about 13 years ago", at a cost of £800, and at the time was attended by 120 children of both sexes. {2}
