A late 18th century, red brick house. It has a pantile roof with coped and tumbled gables. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} Priory Cottage was originally a single house. It was later converted into two dwellings as a house with a small attached cottage. In the mid 1960s the building was recombined into a single house and extensively renovated. There is a local story in the village that during the building works in the mid 1960s, a large stone cross and some medieval remains were found. This stone was reputedly reburied in the garden. {2}{3}
