Full Description
Grade II listed pair of cottages and attached dairy, dating from about 1880, possibly by Sir Arthur Blomfield. They are coursed ironstone rubble with ashlar quoins and decorative tile hanging to the first floor of cottages. They have plain tiled roofs with wooden bargeboards, a conical roof to the dairy with an octagonal louvred top, surmounted by a swept lead roof, supported on free-standing posts. Denton Manor Farm, Denton. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with a covered yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
