Full Description

Grade II listed house, possibly a medieval hall. It was floored in the late 16th century, extended in the early 18th century and altered in the 19th century. The timber frame was cased and it is also made from coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. It has a concrete tiled roof with raised stone coped gables and two ashlar gable stacks, one with a moulded cornice. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
