Full Description
Grade II listed house, dating from 1647 and altered in the 18th and early 19th century. It is coursed blue lias rubble with rough limestone ashlar and red brick and has 20th century slate roofs. The Old Hall, Foston. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the fourth side of the yard. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {2}
