Full Description

A cottage, dating from the 17th century, altered and added to in the 19th and 20th century. It is coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a pantile roof with a stone coped gable and a low roll finial. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} This building is marked as the village reading room on the 1905 Ordnance Survey Map. {2} The reading room was in existence by February 1865 when a concert was held there. {3} The last meeting of the Fulbeck Reading Room Committee was in 1959. The Reading Room was closed down because a youth club was to be opened in the village. {4}
