Full Description

Grade II listed garden archway, dating from about 1845. It is a semi-circular headed archway with imposts and keyblock set in an ashlar wall with a cornice and flanking pilaster. Behind the arch is a further wall containing a dome semi-circular headed recess containing a damaged bust with the Bertie cypher beneath. The flanking pilasters support a moulded cornice. The archway was formerly attached to the south east corner of the now demolished Uffington House.
