Full Description
PRN 38380
These two buildings are built of coursed rubble with an old slate roof. The taller section to the left has a loft door above two modern double doors. The lower section to the right shares a roof-line with nos. 29 and 30. It also has a loft door above double doors and a good moulded wooden eaves course of 17th or early 18th century date. It originally had a four window elevation. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}
These houses between nos. 28 and 29 are now used as warehouses. They may have a 17th or early 18th century origin, based on details of the roof. The taller building to the east has an 18th century stable incorporated into the rear, with three stalls. The west, lower building is probably later. It has a modern lower part to the front wall and the upper part is featureless. {2}
The house to the east/left appears to have had its front rebuilt. It is now clearly a house, with no sign of the loft door or double doors mentioned in the listing description. {3}
