Full Description

Grade II listed well head, built using re-used a late 12th century stone font in the 19th century. It is constructed of Ashlar blocks and wrought iron. It was a circular font, with the bottom removed, which was placed over the well. The top is octagonal with an arcade of pointed arches. The wrought iron bucket mount is semi-circular with scrolled sides and the top is surmounted by a cross.
