Full Description
Grade II listed farmhouse, dating from the 17th century and refront in the early 19th century. It is coursed limestone rubble to the sides and has an ashlar front and dressings. It has a Collyweston slate roof. To the rear is a range which has slate and pantile roofs. To the right of the main front of the farmhouse is a 17th century stable block which was altered in the 18th century. It has a steeply pitched pantile roof. The Barn, Castle Bytham. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {2}
