Full Description

Former estate cottage with attached boundary wall, dating from 1747. Remodelled in the mid 19th century, with late 20th century alterations and now in use as a private residence. Built of coursed, squared stone with brick dressings, and features steeply-pitched renewed pantile roofs with two rebuilt brick gable stacks, the left one coped. The building is of two storeys and features brick quoins and tumbled gables. The right gable has a datestone inscribed 'Jo. Nelson 1747'. Attached to the right hand gable is a boundary wall running for approximately 20m, built of coursed rubble with gabled rubble coping topped with brick.
