Full Description

Grade II listed terrace wall and urns enclosing the central feature of the Italian garden. They date from about 1811, although were reconstructed in about 1870 to 1900 by the 3rd Earl Brownlow. They were originally by Jeffry Wyatville. There is a low wall with four openings for pathways, each opening with steps. Flanking the steps are pairs of chamfered square pedestals topped with urns.
